Michelle M. Paulsen, D.O.

Dr. Michelle Paulsen is an Osteopathic, board certified, family physician. Dr. Paulsen is also Dr. Piccioni’s eldest daughter. She graduated from Kempsville High School and completed her undergraduate degree receiving a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the College of William and Mary in 2001. Dr. Paulsen attended and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, also the alma mater of Dr. Piccioni, receiving her Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2005.

She completed her residency in Family Practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. She was chief resident for the 2007-2008 training year.

Dr. Paulsen has strong interests in Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Adolescent Medicine, Family Planning, Preventive Medicine, and in office surgical procedures.

When not at work, Dr. Paulsen and her husband, Brendan, enjoy traveling, reading, anything related to the outdoors, and spending time with their three children.
